How to Find Your eSIM ICCID on iOS and Android
When you need support or want to top up your travel eSIM, one of the most useful details you can provide is your ICCID (Integrated Circuit Card Identifier). This unique number helps identify your eSIM profile quickly and accurately.
There are a few easy ways to locate it - either directly on your device or through your original eSIM activation email. Here’s a simple guide for both iPhone and Android users.
What Is an ICCID?
An ICCID is a 19–22 digit number that uniquely identifies your SIM or eSIM. It’s sometimes labelled as ICCID, SIM Number, or Digital SIM Number.
Where to Find the ICCID on iOS (iPhone/iPad)
Follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app
- Tap General
- Tap About
- Scroll down to the section labelled ICCID
- If you have multiple eSIMs, you may see them listed under each mobile plan.
- The ICCID will appear as a long numeric string.
Tip: If you don’t see the ICCID for an inactive eSIM, scroll to the bottom and look under Digital SIMs or Carrier Information. Sometimes you need to tap the plan name to expand details.
Where to Find the ICCID on Android
The exact steps can vary slightly by brand (Samsung, Google Pixel, etc.), but the process is generally similar:
Method 1: Through Settings
- Open Settings
- Tap About Phone
- Tap SIM Status or Status Information
- Look for ICCID or SIM Card Number
Method 2: Through the eSIM Manager (varies by device)
On some devices:
- Open Settings
- Tap Network & Internet or Connections
- Tap SIMs or eSIM Manager
- Select the eSIM plan → find ICCID
If the eSIM is inactive or previously deleted, the ICCID may not show on the device anymore—don’t worry, you may still have another way to find it.
📧 Check the ICCID in Your Original eSIM Email
If you installed your eSIM using a QR code or activation link, your original eSIM delivery email almost always includes the ICCID as part of the installation details.
Look for:
- “ICCID”
- “SIM Number”
- “Activation Details”
- The QR code section (usually the ICCID beneath the code)
This is especially helpful if:
- The eSIM was deleted
- The device doesn’t display the ICCID
- You’re preparing details for a top-up
Why the ICCID Matters
Having your ICCID handy allows support teams to:
- Quickly locate your eSIM profile
- Process top-ups or extensions
- Troubleshoot activation issues
- Verify compatibility or plan status
Providing it upfront saves time and ensures a smoother experience.
